Able to help?
As a busy church and with our community work through the Mile Project, there are always opportunities to get involved. All kinds of skills are useful - it may be that you can chat to people, serve coffee, inspire children, mend broken chairs or preach! Whatever your gifting or interest let us know and we will see how you can get involved. Without the help of our volunteers we wouldn't even begin to do the things we are doing.
Send us an email from the contact page or phone the office - we'd be delighted to hear from you.
Some current needs are:
Helpers for Take A Break parent and toddler group (Thursday mornings, term time). If you can help set up, clear away, do drinks or chat to mums and dads then let us know. We are also looking for a new leader for Take A Break. Do you have a passion for supporting parents of young children at a crucial time in their lives? Find out more by contacting Phil Papps at the Mile Project office.
Helpers for Baby Clinic (Wednesday mornings). If you can help set up, clear away, do drinks or chat to mums and dads then let us know at the Mile Project office.
Sunday School helpers - we're always looking for those who could join the rota to help with our Sunday school programme - either as teachers or helpers. Usually we don't put people on the rota more often than once every 4 weeks. Contact the church office if you can help.
