Godspace
GodSpace was conceived in response to comments from people that said they find it "hard to find God" in the midst of their busy lives. Even attending church on Sunday can sometimes become just another activity where we can find it hard to slow down and sense the presence of God.
And so at GodSpace we turn the main hall into a quiet place once a month on a Tuesday evening. It's a place to light candles and pray for those we know need God's help. It's a place to receive bread and wine, it's a place to sit and be still, but above all it's place to use creative ways to focus our minds on God and to meet him.
As well as the monthly meetings we also run GodSpace days in the beautiful setting of St Cuthmans retreat Centre. On these Saturdays we have more time to explore the relationship between personality and spirituality, with plenty of time to pray. See our news and events page for upcoming days.
